Shopping

How do I place an order?+
Browse our shop, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You'll pay securely through Stripe and receive an email confirmation with your order details.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe. All transactions are processed securely — we never store your card details.
Can I track my order?+
Once your order is shipped, the seller will update the order status. You can view your orders and message the seller directly from your dashboard.
What is your return policy?+
Each seller manages their own return policy. If you have an issue with an order, contact the seller through our messaging system. For unresolved disputes, email us at support@afghanistanonline.shop.
Do you ship internationally?+
Yes! Our sellers ship worldwide. Shipping times and costs vary depending on the seller's location and destination. Check the product page or message the seller for specifics.

Selling

How do I become a seller?+
Sign up for a free account, then upgrade to a seller account from your dashboard. Set up your store, connect Stripe, and start listing products — it takes about 10 minutes.
What fees do you charge?+
We charge a small platform fee on each sale to cover operating costs. There are no monthly fees or listing fees — you only pay when you make a sale.
How do I get paid?+
Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. After each sale, your earnings (minus the platform fee) are transferred to your Stripe account, which pays out to your bank on a rolling basis.
What can I sell?+
We focus on Afghan cultural products including clothing, jewelry, carpets, handicrafts, dry fruits, spices, and more. All products must be legal and accurately described.
Can I sell from outside Afghanistan?+
Absolutely! Many of our sellers are part of the Afghan diaspora and sell from the US, Canada, UK, Germany, and other countries.

Account & Security

How do I reset my password?+
Click "Forgot password" on the login page. You'll receive an email with a link to set a new password.
Is my data safe?+
Yes. We use Supabase for authentication with row-level security, and Stripe for PCI-compliant payment processing. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I have both a buyer and seller account?+
Your account works for both. When you upgrade to a seller, you can still browse and buy as usual — you just get access to seller features like product listings and a storefront.
